Product description
This is an excellent Smith and Wesson Commemorative bowie knife made in 1973 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Texas Rangers. There were only 20,000 of these knives made and they are serialized. This knife being serial number "TR15118". The blade on this knife is in excellent condition and still has it's original edge, with no signs of sharpening. The knife does have some minor wear to the brass fittings caused from age, and the rubbing of the leather retaining strap. The sheath of this knife is also in excellent condition. The back leather belt loop strap on the sheath has the Smith and Wesson Logo still visible.
