Pertho Forge
United StatesPertho Forge is a bladesmith who cares as much about what a knife means as what it cuts. Every piece I make starts with simple, honest steel—1095 high carbon or 5160 spring steel—chosen because it can take a hard edge and hold up to real use. I forge, grind, and finish each blade by hand, then fit it with oak, cherry, walnut, or epoxy scales and a custom veg-tan leather sheath dyed to match.
My goal is to make working heirlooms: knives you can hunt with, camp with, and carry through the mess of real life, then hand to your kid or grandkid when it’s your time to step back. They’re not just tools; they’re physical reminders that you’re part of a line, and that what you carry today doesn’t end with you.
If you’re looking for a knife to actually use—and to eventually pass on—I’d be honored to forge it.
