Product description
Offered for your consideration
This 1968 KA-BAR 1109 Folding Hunter Knife is NOS New old Stock, that has been shelved 50 plus years, the Rosewood Handles are free from cracks, chips, or shrinkage, and are flush with the brass bolsters.
The brass bolsters have light patina that I left uncleaned for the next owner to decide on whether or not to clean.
Box has some natural oil stains that naturally occurred from shelf ware.
Blades are made from High Carbon Steel that shows no signs of peppering, or pitting. I applied a light coat of mineral oil to help protect the blades.
This package includes Original Box, original warranty card not filled out, KA-BAR thank you note.
Production era : Based on the specific tang stamp variations, the piece dates to circa 1968, making it an exceptional , early Cole National-Era survivor.
IT WILL BE SHIPPED IN A REINFORCED CARDBOARD BOX TO PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE TELESCOPING KA-BAR BOX.
