DC 53 Steel is a tool steel with exceptional toughness, wear resistance, compressive strength and temper resistance. Primary Carbides in DC 53 are relatively small with highly uniform distribution as compared to other lower grade tool steels such as D2. This helps to provide DC 53 with its superior toughness and fatigue resistances. DC 53 has twice the toughness of D2 with superior wear resistance and substantially higher fatigue strength compared to D2 and holds an edge extremely well.
Tactical knife comes with the high-quality cowhide leather sheath. The sheath has attached straps for concealed and horizontal carry options.
Use a Whet Stone to re-sharpen the blade. When done, wash it with soap and water, dry completely, coat with olive oil, and store away from the sheath. Leather pulls moisture out of the air and can rust the blade if stored improperly for long duration of time in the sheath.
