The "PocketChete" does not look like a folding knife when open, because the handle is significantly shorter than the blade. The highlight here is the fold-out handle extension, which covers the cutting edge when the knife is closed.
The knife locks both when closed and when open. This is an extremely sturdy "back lock" locking mechanism. This double locking feature prevents accidental opening and ensures its status as a two-handed knife.
The solidity of the entire folding mechanism (steel plates, each 4mm thick) makes the PocketChete a truly useful tool that can effortlessly handle tough hacking in the woods and fields.
The "PocketChete" is delivered in a noble box, in which besides the knife itself there are two belt sheaths. One sheath is used to carry the Knife in the open state, the other allows the carrying in the closed state.
The heavy blade is 4mm thick and is made of fine D2 steel. The handle scales are made of G10.
The knife is produced in a strictly limited and unique edition of 5,000 pieces. The copies are numbered and bear the signature of the designer Jörg Sprave.
