Product description
I am selling my Chris Reeve Umnumzaan folding knife. I bought this knife new in 2011 and the knife birth certificate shows it was crafted in April 20, 2011. I am including the original box and paperwork and also a Chris Reeve sticker that came with knife. I do not know what happened to the polishing cloth so I will include the maintenance kit that I bought specifically for this knife. This is a knife that I carried several times over the years to show it off. The knife has very little pocket wear or scratches. The blade is in great shape and was never abused or misused. Blade is made of S30V steel. I want the person that buys the knife to know all about it before you buy it. The lock up is very stiff and it has been that way since I got it. If your fingers are getting old like mine, you may have trouble disengaging lock. The Umnumzaan uses a ceramic ball on lock face to engage tang on knife blade. This ceramic ball also is the detent that keeps the blade in the handle when closed. This knife has bank vault lockup and is very tight. I will tell you and show you on the picture I provide that the lockup on this knife is "late." This is not unusual on the Umnumzaans I have seen and handled over many years. If this is an issue for you please consider one of my other knives. I am going to sell this fantastic knife at a very, very reasonable price. I want the person that has been wanting a Chris Reeve knife to own a great example of one that is affordable. I am going to sell this knife for 350 US dollars AND I am going to discount knife an additional 50 US dollars to help you pay for shipping. So, the cost of this knife to it's new owner will be 300 US dollars to me. I ask that you please look at the other knives on my storefront and tell other knife lovers about me. Thank you. Awesome-opossum
