Product description
1950's, vintage, PIC 'Sheriff Knife', #13169, made by the Linder Bros. of Solingen, Germany, the 'Cradle of German knifemaking. It is a Collectible, fixed blade, Clip point, 5.5" High Carbon hunting knife, records are sketchy from the maker, but the blade is probably 1095 or 1.411. The blade shows some scratches and has the older PIC tang stamp featuring a gloved hand & 3 arrows and Solingen Germany. The handle is composite material with beautiful silver & red liners. A protective finger guard & polished aluminum pommel finish off the handle. Overall length is 10.5" +/-. Comes with the original leather sheath in good original condition. This knife was part of the mid 20th-century German hunting tradition. Could this knife have skinned a European Stag? Maybe. Enjoy
