The knife has been lightly used a few times and has been professionally sharpened and stropped on a DBK leather strop infused with their diamond compound to ensure an extremely sharp edge. It is still in excellent condition, with no imperfections affecting performance.
Teruyasu Fujiwara is a fourth-generation blacksmith, highly respected for his craftsmanship. The Maboroshi series is known for its balance, durability, and high cutting efficiency, making it a reliable tool for serious cooks.
