This piece has many embellishments. On the left face of the blade we have 'Knights Of Ku Klux Klan Klan Day, September 23, 1923 Knoxville, Tenn.' along with the stamped knight on his horse. The right face of the blade states 'A Good Place To Live' - The left side of the guard has a partially present 'KA-BAR Olean NY' marking below which we have 'S.C.' and 'KKKK' in the wood handle. The opposite side of the handle has '28' and a repeat of 'KKKK'
We typically don't attempt to clean historical or otherwise vintage knives prior to sale with the exception of brown rust or verdigris. Thankfully this required attention to neither rust nor verdigris and it is being sold precisely as-found.
We are experienced parcel shippers and are at the post office most days of the week with outbounds. Thank you for your interest and consideration.
