Product description
looking to let go of my gyuto (originally purchased from Cuttingedgeknives UK). It has been used for about a year, I have thinned it as well as rounded and sanded both the choil and spine for better comfort (all photographed). Excellent weight and handling for beginners and experienced users alike.
Steel: Aogami Super core with stainless steel cladding (kurouchi and tsuchime finish)
Wood: octagonal Zelkova with Mahogany ferrule
Weight: 153 grams
Heel height: 45mm
Thickness of spine above choil: 2mm
Also letting go of my King Deluxe combination whetstone (1000/6000 grit). I have flattened both sides, chamfered all edges and is perfect to use right out the box. From the photos you can see there's plenty of life left to both stones. This is a soaking stone not a splash and go stone, however, also an excellent tool for beginners and experienced users.
This as a complete bundle sale. The gyuto will come with the original box and complimentary blade guard cover. The whetstone will come with the original stand and original box.
