Product description
Opinel No.10vri Locking Penknife
10cm. stainless steel blade. Swedish 12C27 Modified stainless steel
Stainless steel blades are made from an alloy of iron, carbon and chromium. They are popular for their resistance to corrosion and ease of maintenance. Stainless steel blades also last longer than carbon blades, as they do not wear as much.
However, they are harder to sharpen than carbon blades because of their hardness. Stainless steel blades also tend to lose their cutting edge more quickly than carbon blades. If you use your knife regularly, you will probably need to sharpen it more often.
Overall length of 23cm.
The crowned fingers Hallmark on the blade is synonymous of Opinel quality since 1890
