The Harley-Davidson Mini-Hardtail is a classic folding knife, showcasing a 3.25" satin D2 steel blade, durable Valox handle scales, and Benchmade’s dependable AXIS/Crossbar Lock. This knife represents the rugged quality Harley-Davidson and Benchmade are known for, making it a unique piece for enthusiasts and collectors.
Condition: This knife is in fair pre-owned condition. The blade shows signs of being sharpened, with visible pitting along the sides. While the Valox scales have no scuffing or marks, they exhibit a slightly faded appearance. When I first acquired the knife, it was in rough shape, but I thoroughly cleaned the interior AXIS lock mechanism, and applied fresh oil. After some tender love and care, the knife now fires like a champ, with smooth and snappy action and excellent lockup. It’s incredibly fidget-friendly thanks to its rounded thumb studs and the similarly styled easy-to-grip AXIS lock button.
This knife not only demonstrates Benchmade's renowned durability but also presents an opportunity: send it back to Benchmade, and they can restore the blade to its former glory, turning this discontinued gem into a true treasure.
