BRAND NEW IN BOX ONTARIO SPEC PLUS GEN 2 SP-41 SURVIVAL KNIFE featuring
an overall length of 8.38 inches, with a very sharp blade length of 3.63 inches and handle length of 4.75". Blade is made of tough 5160 carbon steel which is tougher than common inexpensive 1095 steel often seen at this price point and has a flat grind. Knife weighs 4.60 oz. Comes with MOLLE compatible sheath.
These knives are professionally sharpened at the factory with two abrasive belts of different grits to refine the edge (the usual factory procedure uses one belt) and then are buffed to remove the burr and further refine the edge.
The Kraton handles are well designed with a combination of grooves to prevent any hot spots even when doing hard work. They offer excellent grip/purchase under all conditions, wet or dry.
If you like knives such as Cold Steels Recon Scout but feel that it's too cumbersome or long to actually carry, you will appreciate this knife from Ontario. And if you are looking for a good EDC fixed blade, this SP-41 would make a great choice.
Knife is NEW IN BOX, NEVER CARRIED NEVER USED, comes with factory sheath.
