"Gaia" is much like its sister knife also for sale on my store "Golden Hour" the same blood, sweat, tears and many long days go into making one. The blade itself is the best quality 1084 high carbon steel meticulously crafted and double tempered for immaculate hardness and edge retention. The tsuka and saya are much like the Golden Hour of a hand picked pine but this time its treated to the process of yakisugi and finished three times with linseed oil. Giving it a strong and bold earth tone finish. as always, I take pride in what I make. So take pride in owning one.
