The Benchmade 4300BK-03 CLA (Composite Lite Auto), is a great all-purpose mid-sized auto knife using a CPM-Magnacut steel drop point blade with a DLC Battlewash black finish. The handles are Ivory G-10. It incorporates enlarged actuation (push) button. The CLA features an integrated safety in the handle that allows for secure carry. The deep carry tip-up reversible pocket clip has an anodized bronze finish, and nicely accents the knife. The CLA is the perfect size auto for EDC (Everyday Carry), not wimpy small, and not overly big.

CPM-MAGNACUT Steel: CPM-MagnaCut is a unique powder metallurgy stainless tool steel with a design which eliminates chromium carbide in the heat treated microstructure. An excellent combination of toughness and
wear resistance is achieved by having only small, high hardness, vanadium and niobium carbides, giving CPM MagnaCut properties similar to non-stainless steel CPM 4V. Being free from chromium carbide also leads to improved corrosion resistance. This product offers an excellent combination of properties for knives.
