Product description
Up for sale is this stunning customized buck knife by Michael Prater. This is part of the “Painted Pony” series and comes with original box. Michael Prater, an American artisan specializes in embellishing and customizing factory-made knives. This knife features many of the embellishments he is known for, including the decorative spine work, inlays and decorative handle work. Not entirely sure what the handle is made of, research suggests red coral.
The presentation box is original, and features a “horse head” cutout and window etched “Painted Pony” with Michael Prater signature. The box is a bit dusty but otherwise in as new condition. The certificate of authenticity card that would have come with the knife is not present.
