Selling a custom handmade gyuto by Cham Songpon Kanrangsee / Songpon Knives of Thailand.

• 230mm x 50mm
• 52100 carbon steel core
• Stainless cladding
• Stainless “lightning” interlayer
• Hand-forged rustic finish
• Dark wa handle
• Original Songpon maker’s mark

Really unique construction—the stainless interlayer creates the wild lightning-style transition running along the blade. The 52100 core takes an excellent edge while the stainless cladding makes maintenance easier.

Knife has been used and shows normal cosmetic signs of use/forge character as pictured, but overall presents beautifully and has never been sharpened. Small defect on handle, will give a free Wa Handle to go with it.

Has some patina on it, but has never been sharpened. Like the other one I have for sale, I just prefer taller knives.
