Product description
A late 15th or early 16th century bollock dagger.
Inspired after an existing piece, the blade is very complex but pretty. It has a thick spine, defining false edge and a reinforced tip that still has a cutting edge.
The handle is turned sandal wood that left a very nice smell in my workshop and still leaves some in the hand. It features an aggressive looking guard that has some decorative filing and hand carved bollocks that fit tightly to the guard. The tang is peened on a brass washer.
Looking at it now, the bollocks came out different than the original. They are slightly smaller and hug the guard more, but I think that gives it a distinctive look. On the last picture you can see the original.
