Product description
This is a beautifully handmade knife that was hand forged from a rusty old high carbon steel railroad spike. The only tool that was used was an angle grinder. With a bevel that tapers down from the spine of the blade into a sharp edge that is perfect for slicing and the huge serrations on the blade is something that just adds more character to this knife. The handle was also cleaned up and smoothed out and it makes for a super comfortable grip.
The hand crafted black leather sheath was made using Veg-Tan leather. The front and back panels were hand stitched through the center welt so that the sharp edge of the blade would never cut or damage the stitching. So this sheath is sturdy and meant to last for a long time.
With a 4.5 inch blade and 4.25 inch handle, it is the all around perfect size for just about any task that is needed. Total length is 8.75 inches.
It weighs 11.9 oz. (including the leather sheath)
