Product description
This is my personal skinning knife, and I bought it from Chris Reeve Knives in Boise, Idaho. It shows some wear on the handle, but as a tribute to the quality of the knife, the blade is perfect. I have the original birth certificate, warranty card, and even the oil it came with. I have a CRK box, but it is not the original one.
This Ubejane Skinner from Chris Reeve features a nonreflective black Kalgard finish with a clip-point A2 blade with a false top edge, notched thumbrest, .198" blade stock, and 1.716" blade depth, integral construction. The handle is knurled for a solid grip and has a removable aluminum butt cap with lanyard, there is storage area inside the handle. Comes with a black leather sheath. Excellent condition. 4.25" blade, 9.125" overall.
I sent it off to Chreeve Reeve to have it sharpened; it is super sharp and ready to go.
The leather sheath supplied with the Skinner has a strap closure that passes from left to right around the cross guard. To ensure that the knife does not fall from the sheath should the strap become unfastened, there is a nylon stud in place above the cross guard on the right-hand side.
