Product description
introducing a one-of-a-kind gyuto knife crafted by the talented Slovenian blacksmith, Timotej Kruska. This knife is a true work of art, made from damascus steel that was laminated by hand from Timotej OC100 carbon steel inner core, with a very hard rating of around 63 HR, and soft wrought iron outside. The wrought iron used in this knife is incredibly old, producing an astonishing damascus pattern that is truly unique.
Wrought iron is a soft material produced from semi-fused pure iron surrounded by slag, with less than 0.1 percent carbon and 1-2 percent slag. In the hands of a skilled blacksmith like Timotej, wrought iron is transformed into a beautiful and functional material that has been used for centuries.
The blade of this knife is a Gyuto 210 shape, a bit heavier than usual due to its thickness of around 3.5mm close to the handle and nicely tapered to the tip. The Korouchi finish is not only beautiful, but also protects the blade from corrosion and wear.
In addition to its stunning appearance, this knife is also a high-performance tool that will make any task in the kitchen or outdoors easier and more enjoyable. The blade is incredibly sharp and durable, able to withstand even the toughest tasks with ease. And the handle provides a secure and comfortable grip, ensuring precision and control during use. Handle is mad from Olive wood.
In conclusion, the knife crafted by Slovenian blacksmith Timotej Kruska is a true masterpiece that combines beauty and functionality.
