Forged out of white 2 with iron cladding, this is representative of quality Yoshikane forging. The kurouchi and tsuchime finishes are excellent with food release no issue. Overall, the blade has a mid workhorse feel with nice taper to the spine and a subtle convexity. Absolute performance driven piece. Never sharpened or stropped.
