Note* Scuff mark over the kanji area I made using a rust eraser which has slightly effected the subtle migaki finish on the blade.
One thing that's immediately obvious when this knife is in hand is that the quality and skill shown in the migaki finish and the consistent grind also extends to the spine and heel of the knife where they've been ever so slightly rounded which makes a big difference in comfort when using a pinch grip in particular.
It shows a quality and attention to detail that extends to all aspects of the knife.
