SPYDERCO POLICE collectors, this is a very nice example of a vintage Spyderco Police C07GP. I am placing this knife up for sell specifically for Spyderco collectors. This knife has some very important features that Spyderco Police collectors will appreciate. I have narrowed down the date of manufacture from 1998 to 2000. If you are a hard core Spyderco collector I am sure you will be able to quickly identify the exact year of manufacture. This knife has G-10 handles and a single steel liner. This knife has the Hitachi Metals made ATS-55 steel. I bought this knife in approximately 2000 and it came in the red box pictured in my listing. I do not know if this is the original box but the label on the box is correct for the knife. I have never carried or used the knife, but it appears that the knife was carried or used before I bought it. I bought the knife in the Central Mall in Fort Smith, Arkansas at a shop that sold leather goods and knives. The person said it was a store demonstrator and that was why it had some signs of use. After I purchased the knife I sent it to Spyderco and they resharpened the blade for me. They did not remove the scratches on the blade. This is a very good knife and it is clean inside and out. The knife functions smoothly and the lock works perfectly.
