Forged work by Kenichi Wada out of Sakai and former Kenichi Shiraki student. The blade is hand forged and water quenched. Fit and finish are excellent with a smoothly rounded spine/choil that are highly polished. Edge is very sharp out of the box and spine tapers to wafer thin point. Overall, it is very solid feel in the hand despite all the refinement and curved edge. High performance. Sharp out of the box and never sharpened or stropped.
