Product description
Offered for your consideration is a remarkable, collector-grade Schrade factory crossover error pocket knife.
This rare 3-9/16” slip joint is equipped with a 1982-era SCHRADE stainless steal master blade stamped 980T rather than being finished in standard Old Timer brown Delin, this blade was factory-pinned directly into a stunning, smooth Butter and Molasses swirled celluloid handle frame intended for the Open Stock 896K line. Because both patterns shared the exact same underlying chassis, it created this flawless, highly collectible factory anomaly.
Blades: Flawless mint condition. Full factory finish with absolutely zero peppering, pitting, or tarnish. Snappy springs across all three blades.
Handles: Museun-grade swirled celluloid scales. They are completely tight, bright, and flush against the nickel bolsters with zero cracking, shrinkage, or signs of chemical offgassing.
Packaging: Comes complete with it’s original vintage Schrade896K sampling tube.
