The Boker Optima is a Folding Knife that can take rough handling and use. The exceptionally thick blade made of 440C is stainless, hollow ground and securely fastened by the Backlock. The blades of the Optima series are all exchangeable, so that the knife can be quickly adapted to the respective requirements. The exchange-blade system transforms this one-part knife into a multi-functional knife. The handle body is sintered from a piece of nickel silver, the scales are made from exotic grey stained Giraffe Bone. For years, hunters have appreciated the Boker Optima series as an absolutely practical alternative to fixed hunting knives. It is not just the compact dimensions of a pocket-knife and the possibility of mounting hunting-specific interchangeable blades without tools that have earned the Boker Optima its excellent reputation. In this special variant, the hunting pocket-knife comes with a 440-C stainless steel blade and a ceramic blade which opens classically by nail nick and is held by a sturdy backlock. The nickel silver handle has scales made of certified imported Giraffe Bone, and rounds off the noble appearance of the knife. This typical hunting knife has a large handle for optimal grip. Unique about the Böker Optima is that all the blade can be removed. Böker offers a couple of replacement blades that can easily be installed, but another advantage is that you can properly clean the knife. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen Germany.
