Product description
Long petty from Ashi Hamono, very thin blade in
swedish stainless steel.
The length of the blade aids for a variety of tasks:
chopping with the hand off the board to get knucle clearance, slicing, peeling, etc. The slight flexibility is great for filleting as well.
Sharpened twice with still a nice edge, the only signs of use on the blade are a few sharpening scratches on the right side I captured in photo.
Handle is in octagonal magnolia with blonde horn ferrule.
On the left side of the blade there's a laser engraved kanji, was a custom order at Ashi Hamono.
