These is not his traditional production knife but rather his take on hand laminated Damascus blades akin to what his father has produced.

This knife is from his “kasumi” series. Really cool to see Mutsumi forging his own path with these hand laminated Damascus blades. The Pattern has some gorgeous texture, but doesn’t sit so high that it would cause drag. It’s cool to see his iterations of his father’s classic patterns. Spine has a good taper and sits really thin BTE.
