Malone Knives is a custom maker in Amarillo, Texas, and their Nessmuk has been a popular model for a number of years, although they drop limited small batches of knives. This Pioneer Edition comes in O1 steel. The blade bears some signs of use and patina from cutting food. I have sharpened and stropped this knife myself. There are no material or workmanship defects in either the knife or the sheath. The sheath is produced by Badger Claw Outfitters, also based in Texas, and includes a removable snap-on belt dangler. The knife fits very snugly in the sheath. Sheaths are typically sold separately, but I am including the sheath in the listed price. I am selling this knife because I have found that other knives suit my needs better, and over time I have carried it less and less; but it is still a beautiful and highly functional blade capable of food processing and camp tasks such as carving and light batoning/chopping. I am happy to provide additional information or photos upon request.
