Iron Grove Tool Co. is a family owned business based in Dripping Springs, Texas, which produces highly unique cutlery for chefs and outdoorsmen. This is one of their Traveler models, hand-forged from 52100 carbon steel. This blade features a brute de forge finish, as well as a hamon tempering line, with the maker's mark stamped into the right face of the blade. I have carried this knife for EDC on and off for several years, using it primarily for cutting food and carving wood, as well as work in the garden such as pruning small branches, so the blade has some light patina. I have sharpened and stropped this knife myself. The handle is antler, I believe from whitetail deer. This blade comes with a handmade leather sheath, which it fits into snugly. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of heirloom quality, which comes with Iron Grove's lifetime warranty, perfect for any outdoorsman or collector of unique handmade knives. I am happy to provide additional photos or information upon request.
