This is a hand-forged custom knife from Lunar Light Forge, based in Ohio. I ordered this knife several years ago and have used it lightly. It is a tough blade capable of hard use and general camp tasks, such as chopping and batoning. It has a convex grind that keeps a sharp edge and a brute de forge finish, showcasing the forging process. Engraved on the right face of the blade is the Norse rune Uruz, which is a symbol of strength. The sheath is hand-stitched leather and painted with a motif of a southern dewberry, related to the blackberry. The handle is ironwood with a tapered tang and flared bird-beak pommel for a secure grip when chopping. This knife is a user, and I would love for it to go to someone who isn't afraid to beat on it. I am happy to provide additional photos and information upon request.
